As the nights draw in I'm getting increasingly anxious to actually use my R8.......

Does anyone famcy a late eve weekday drive out.......or an early morning one?

Have had som enjoyable drives with fellow Yorkshire ph'ers so don't be shy if you fancy a drive.......and I look forward to seeing some tasty metal in action!

I'm definitely up for a drive, should be able to convince two mates too. As always just need someone else to lead the route or if one of the previous organisers (Al, Benjj or Logbert) have a Google Maps route that would do the job.

I dont have any maps or anything I just did it from memory, also weather this time of year makes it really hard to plan anything to far ahead.

I just got up and went this morning, as you can see gets a bit dodgy aswell this time of year. Early morning Ice,leaves, road kill and such, few dodgy moments

The temps have dropped pretty sharply in the past week or so. That patch of ice looks like it could cause some damage! Just picked up an antisocial Evo and I'm keen to give it a shakedown but I guess I'll to wait for the right weather.

Anyone up for a drive once the weather starts to improve? Had a few short drives out near Fewston before winter arrived and I'm itching for a proper early morning blast in the chavvy Evo.

Ordinarily I'd be well up for this but just prepping my R8 to perfection for sale

Don't think I could bring myself to drive it hard after the time and effort lavished on getting it looking showroom fresh again!!

Cars are meant to be driven but I guess the last thing you want is any stonechips etc. What's it being replaced with?

Lol, you buy new cars more often than I buy new pairs of jeans.

So, like Giblet said what's next?

Hi Martin wavey & Tom

Will be happy to organise another Wolds Wazz, probably in the next month.

Would like to limit numbers to 6-8 cars max, quite quick pace (making progress SAFELY), so no overtakes on blind crests/bends.

Who's in for a 6 am start for 2-3 hours hoonage?? Please put any dates you can make in Mar/Apr.

I'm game for any Sunday this month. A friend of mine (and fellow PH member) is also up for it with his Elise SC.

East/North Yorks. Tend to do a decent length run out before the Car Boot brigade clutter the roads driving
