Hi

Please could anyone suggest a BMW Mini specialist that they have had good dealings with.

We have an R56 Mini Cooper that appears to be suffering from the common idle/stalling problem.

Many thanks!

B&M at Pudsey for all things German, including Mini. Richard, Lisa and their team have always been superb. Wish they would start doing Porsche too.

Can recommend http://www.bigminiworks.co.uk/pcmac_contact.html ex BMW technician, nice lad seems to know his stuff, and very competitive.

Used him to trace and repair a water leak on a 5 series that had the main dealer baffled.

I take my E91 to Mad4Mini http://www.mad4mini.co.uk/ who as the name suggests are primarily Mini specialists but do basic BMW servicing as well. Really nice bunch of guys and they definitely know their stuff, often telling me about jobs where they've repaired problems instead of replacing costly parts.

+1

150,000 miles of motoring over the years with them, always great.

Another vote for Mad4Mini, been there a few times for servicing and fixing my R55 Mini Clubman JCW. They always do a good job, are honest and easy to deal with.

Mad4MINI for me too. I used them for all 3 of my Minis and the Z4 over the years.

Thank you everyone. I took the car to Mad4Mini and I found their service to be excellent and good VFM.

The stalling problem turned out to be low oil level. I'm ashamed to admit that I couldn't for the life of me tell where the oil level was on the dip stick. The R56 has the worst dipstick ever made.

Mad4Mini are the boys. very knowledgable, (and patient). Deliver fantastic service at reasonable rates. Im on the TLC service on my new one, so won't be up there for a while, but wish them all the best for the future.

Like others have mentioned I would have to recommend Mad4Mini. I have had our R53 cooper s in there for various work and they have always been really helpful and informative!
