Morning all,

Have a 42 inch Samsung flat screen, £800 5 years ago, gone to white screen.

Research suggests could be a £3 capacitor, fixable, or the main board, non fixable.

Can't find a tv repair place with decent reviews anywhere, reluctant to pull a no from yellow pages, any recommendations please

Cheers, Kinabalu

Whereabouts are you? I could have a look if you're not too far away?

Thanks for all the pointers guys, a great help.

I'm normally in Calverley but over in Harehills for a while, I'll get on it today.

Cheers guys.
