Has anybody ever used JCT BMW Accident service?

Mrs had a bump in the car. 99% non fault but I think still to be confirmed by insurer.
Her insurers are being difficult (wanting us to use their 'approved repairer').
We wanted to use local BMW dealer 5 min from us and they have refused. they are looking into other BMW dealers but all at least 1hr away.

I see JCT offer a claim service where they will do what the insurers should have i.e no excess, BMW repair and courtesy car.

Any experience?

Yes I've used them 3 times, zero fault accidents, no hassle, good service.

Read the T & C's off the accident management company's contract as you may be the ultimate underwriter if they are unable to recover the costs from the 3rd party.

You should be able to use a repairer of your choice however, some policies have a clause which triggers a fee if you want to use a repairer of your choice.

Personally, I would not let JCT repair my wheel Barrow having seen the standard of their work.

Thanks chaps.

Have found another solution now in going direct to the 3rd parties insurance. Will put up a separate thread about it as it was a lesson for me.

Thanks
