Strafford Arms pub in Wakefield (south Leeds)
Discussion
You mean 'hipster central'? Goes well with the barber shop around the corner...
Walked by that place a few times, definitely a different experience. I tend to prefer the quiet places as well, and the hipsters do seem like they know their stuff. Any idea if they got non-alcoholic drinks on the menu? Piedboeuf and such.

It looks like everything I want to avoid in a pub is right there on that advert
Only go past this place on a Saturday evening around 6pm. The pavement is usually covered in well-oiled oiks, smoking, leering, shouting and showing what a wonderful place Wakefield really is. Derish said:

Clearly an isolated Wakefield problem. The rest of Yorkshire (and England for that matter) is known for its responsible drinking and well mannered behaviour under the influence. Gassing Station | Yorkshire | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
