Hi chaps, as usual I am planning a little gathering at my unit in Harrogate and heading over to Malton Big Breakfast on 27th March.

In October we had around 15 cars turn up including a McLaren 12c and Nissan GT-R, hopefully this time we will be joined by a Porsche 918 amongst other stuff (weather and hangover dependant). There will be the usual bunch of Lotusususus, M3's, C63's etc and what ever anyone else has. Any car is welcome of course, but the convoy may require something brisk.

We will not be doing 100 miles to get there, this is not a dawn raid morning drive, but I will plan a route that tries to avoid the A64 as much as possible. The police are out in force on the day so there is little point going crazy, just a good excuse to have a little run out. Once we get there we just aimlessly walk around and leave at your leisure

My unit is on Camwal Road in Harrogate, HG1 4PT - I will plonk a bright green Exige by the entrance so you can't miss it. Meeting time 7am, for a 7.15 (ish) depart.

Just post below if you want to join and PM me any questions smile

I may join, although it's looking like the 944 may be the only working/legal car at the moment that's not a diesel biggrin, I have a couple of freinds (C63 and M6) who may also be up for this.

I'm half interested, thinking about going along to Malton for a look. Could I tag on your convoy, only have MGF Trophy 160 but it's my little bit of mid engined fun.
Cheers.

Blimey....now I'm spoilt for choice. ...was planning a little dawn raid on Sunday. ...then realised it's big breakfast time....and Leeds supercars are doing a run there too

Torn between this convoy and that one....not sure my R8 cuts it with proper supercars!

Hopefully see you at Malton, I'll put the R8 goodybag I picked up for you at Goodwood in the car just in case.

Bless you sonic, that's very kind!

I'm kind of in 2 minds about the BB now....the YouTube vids looks very underwhelming....corsas. ...aaagggghhhh

Please give me some feedback guys as to what to expect as my max power days are well behind me and over exposure to hot hatches may make me puke !

I've not been for a few years but check the multiple Youtube videos from last years meets. You'll get a mix of high end metal and sportscars plus hot hatches etc.

I have about 15-20 cars coming now, route is planned (20 miles of fun roads before joining the A64) and all set for Sunday, 7am sharp please guys!

Turboman, come either way, yes it's a little chavvy but still worth going. I generally enjoy the drive over, walk around for an hour and head off home, back to Harrogate for 11. The drive is the best bit (I think Leeds supercar meet just go on the motorway all the way)

Just have a look at the Facebook page about it and you'll get the gist. Especially with rain for cast it'll keep most of the exotica away. I'll be stopping in bed!
