It is that time of year again, the first big run out of the year; the Yorkshire Big Breakfast at Specialist Cars of Malton.

Easter Sunday, 27th March 2016, will see thousands of drivers meet at Malton from 8.30am for a bacon sandwich and a chance to look at some of the finest metal in the North of England.

Now in its 9th year the Yorkshire Big Breakfast has grown to become one of the North's premier multi-marque car events with every kind of sports and classic car in attendance. We've had over 4000 people attend the last events and this promises to be even bigger.

As always everyone is welcome, no matter what you drive (or ride, motorbikes are of course welcome), please pass this invite on to your car clubs, owners clubs, friends and colleagues, it is the mix of makes and models that makes this event so exciting.

As you can imagine due to the scale of the Big Breakfast we have a hefty police presence to ensure the event remains a fun, safe and enjoyable family day out. We hope everyone will help us to keep the continued running of the Yorkshire Big Breakfast viable by driving sensibly and enjoying themselves responsibly. The police usually put speed camera vans on the approaches so keep an eye out.

Please follow the directions of our marshals whose job it is to keep traffic flowing and maintain access to some of the businesses on the estate who are working and need to have vehicles come in and out. To this end some areas of the estate will be no parking, signed by cones, please respect these cones to make sure we don't upset our neighbours and can continue to run the event. As on previous occasions we're implementing the one way system around the estate from York Road, joining at the North East (Malton side) and leaving at the South West (A64 side).

Once again we have laid on extra parking just off the main B1248 York Road, a 2 minute walk to our workshops. This car parking will be used for overflow purposes but please feel free to park there if you'd prefer.

As always we've a facebook event running which is useful for inviting your friends, https://www.facebook.com/events/1752784071616733/

See you then!

Possible, it looks like a great day but too early to commit just yet.

^^^^ Well if it was for no reason, surely they have contest it, and been given an apology and let off the fine. You don't get fined for nothing.

Having been at Malton BB without a Police presence on two occasions and seen a couple of drivers doing 80/90 MPH repeatedly with crowds either side for the main exit. (Blue Focus was one). It is only natural that the Police be there to protect the public. Unfortunately those few drivers have spoiled what we initially all turned up for, the noise of various super car spirited but generally safe! departures towards the A64. With regards to the charity, I believe in the past it's always been for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Yup it was the idiots in the modified blue Focus and the R35 GTR that kept doing high speed runs up and down the main road a few years back that resulted in the heavy police presence. I've not been down since, might finally make it down this time.

Just up the road from me. I may bring my lad for a look at some fancy metal if we have nothing else on.
