East Yorkshire lathe to borrow/buy/favour!

I'm after a bit of help from the ph massive, I've got a small model engineering project ongoing and need to make some axles, you used to be able to buy them but haven't been able to for years, so I need to make them, it's an hours work on a lathe or very hard work indeed without one. I'm actually looking to buy a lathe ideally if anyone's got one sat in a shed unloved, large or small, but failing that does anyone have one I can borrow for an hour for a donation to their beer fund?

The nearer to Driffield the better but if it was a sale I'll travel anywhere.

Thankyou thats a really kind offer, anyone who knows me would say that image is about as far as imaginable from me!

I'm watching a couple on ebay, if that doesn't work out if your ok with me contacting you I may take you up on your kind offer!
