Woohoo.
Just got access to a new db meter at work.
Not in the Tiv today so I'll have to measure it tomorrow.
Any one else want to know how loud their P&J is, then come along to the next NY meeting & I'll bring the meter.

What a great idea, I've got one upstairs I bought to set up my surround sound.

I do know that when I start up the Chimaera the front door shakes

Let's see how loud it actually is...

Best start and look for a new meeting place now. Not sure noise testing will go down too well in a village pub car park on a Sunday lunchtime.

Plenty of quiet (sic) country lanes for a fly-by reading.
I can see a quiz question forming....
How loud is Stainless Steve's mota at full chat in 3rd gear????

I think it nudged 130 at P.Fest standing still. My Griff managed 124 and I know the 348 is louder than that was, so it would be quite interesting to see, mind you, it sounds a shed load better under load... 7500 rpm, 125mph, 3rd gear... anyone want to run behind with the meter

I have to agree with you Al, your murtur is bl00dy loud, at least it was on the WWII when I was behind you. Not so loud when one bank of the engine packed up though!

PS I was only behind you because I wanted to, ahem, be there.

At least the guy with the Lambo knows he has to keep to 3500rpm for the test at Mallory next week (3500 = 106db at 1m)

I was impressed by how louder your system was compared to mine, deeper tone as well.

Odd, a moment of oddness then went back to being fine, still can't think what it was. It's normally a precautionary measure when it senses that one of the cats is getting a little too warm, which after giving it some welly, then coming into the Sunday morning Scarborough traffic I could understand.... oh, except that it hasn't got any

Do you know whether you can make Sunday yet or not Paul?

We'll have to get maddog to put a loudness column on the Tam register!

I propose a sport exhaust shootout (shoutout?!) when we have the Tamora meet.

Don't think you've actually missed anything. (unless I have too)

One day though, there is bound to be a Tam meet. It is only fair that we jump on the single model national meet bandwagon at some point. I just hope it is open to all colours!

right then, since you suggested it.
I propose you as the organiser for the first Tam owners meet.

What date & location you got in mind?
