We normally eat at Blakey Ridge however checking my diary I see that 6th March is Mothering Sunday. Now either I change the date or plan this without the lunch stop. There's no way Blakey Ridge will be able to accommodate us.

Will let you know as soon as I get things sorted.

There's a decent sized cafe in Helmsley just off street (Cleveland Way is the name f street I think) near the large car park as you come in from Newgate side. They do hot snacks and cakes, plus cars aren't too far out of sight.

Well, you should have normal seats in the Testa instead of the Competizione ones, then you wouldn't have to maintain such a svelt figure Steve

I think it is because we enjoy to 'social' aspect as well as the run out. Usually the food/drink bit is an ideal opportunity to have a chat about (laugh at) what happened on the run, what's going on in the automotive world, and of course, it provides the ideal opportunity to ask Enrique how is music career is.

Y'see PH is a funny place, I came along looking for a bit of advice about my car, perhaps wanting to join the odd run out. Then 18 months later I find that I have this rather nice bunch of friends, who I enjoy spending time with. Does nothing for the waistline of course, but hey, what the hell!

Well I shall expect to see Steve jogging around the car park when you're all eating.

Looking like NEPHers doing a morning run through the northeast North York Moors, YPHers doing the westerly North York Moors. Meeting up for lunch at Helmsley then all of us off to Whitby via some of the NYM's more interesting driving roads of which I know many.

Richard (Gem) and I can work out the route and provide directions on the day.

What's the betting YPHers will start the day with a bacon bun or two at Jo's (I'll have to find my way there one day)

You'd be most welcome Bob.

Although I expect I will be cooking breakfast, it won't be at home. A few of us are making a weekend of it and staying somewhere in the Lakes. Expect a few on Sunday morning.
