If you fancy an early start and a damn good thrash on some fabulous drivers roads (covered in muck no doubt), let me know.

Start point & route currently flexible-ish, so if you're up for it, let me know where you're coming from and we can try to organise something convenient.

At this point, it's likely to be M62/M18 (Optimax available), but we can meet en-route possibly.

Kind references from the last one www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=2&f=117&t=121018&h=0

Son of a gun eh?

The speeds attained last time, if apprehended, would result in much time in jail engaged as some large lifers biatch

We are usually finished in time for breakfast

That well known Optimax watering hole sounds good for a meet... I could do with exploring some roads... all depends on whether I have had the clutch done or not, if not I'll still be up for it, but just a little bit steadier on the gear changes.

Yes put me down for this one, should have the Tam back from the plastic surgeons by then. Might be able to keep up now
Let's hope there is no frost that morning.
Can meet you anywhere, the further the better really as it takes 20 miles to warm the oil up this time of year.

Paranoid??? I guess the local 'safety partnership camera' van man would be wetting himself if he knew where to park up and hide. Even better than doing the usual 9am on a Sunday morning sites our local van usually does.

My daughter got picked up last year (ohh missues!) going to Cardiff for the England V Wales match. South Wales Police had the van waiting kowing routes and times! I suggested she plead not out on the grounds of institutional racism on the part of SWP, as their policy was disproportiantely picking up the English. Works in stop search.

So, we have;
Stu B - Supercharged Z3
Rods - T350?
Al - 348
Willyworm - Chim

Interested;
Satch#9?
TVRBob?

Everyone ok for the suggested rp?

Route will be from M18/M62 up just into North Yorks and back down into East Yorks or down into North Lincs. Will be running a longer route than the last one as there's nothing else going on, on the Sunday (other than bloody DIY!), so over 100 miles.

Will aim to stop at a suitable breakfast location before returning.

Safety Camera Partership websites will be checked in advance. Does anyone use/have 'talkabouts' or such like?

Everyone ok for the suggested rp? (What's RP? is it code for meeting point?)

Would like to explore some roads out towards the coast and Fylingdales and the like for future runs , don't know how feasible it is though?

Count me in for this if I can drag myself out of my pit early enough on a cold winters morning.

I'm just a little concerned that my Chim450 may not be able to keep up... (Having read Al's comments on this and the East Yorks Thread)

Satch, head down the A19 then A63 towards Howden is the easiest way from York to the meet up location.

I'll mail everyone with times & an outline route later on.

Arrive about 6.15 am & departing something like 6.30 am. As I said, gas is available at the start.

I am fitting TVR's wheel & brake upgrade w/c 6th Dec so will be suffering from Toyo slippy tyre syndrome for a while. Best not to push my luck. Hopefully join you lot on a run in the New Year.
