I'll be going. Thought Graham would have mentioned it by now. Think its the last summer one.

The Earl of Stafford @ Hooton Roberts according to the region web page. I've not been before either.
But I think its on the A630 off the A1.

Which way you going Andy?
We could meet up somewhere & try & find it together.

Events/ Meetings / Travel says it's on. Will be my second visit, but Earl of Staffs was pretty easy to find. Hooton Roberts isn't a big village. Pub will be on the right, if you come from the A1, on the main A630 road.

From North Leeds. Where you at??

A1 or M1 probably doesn't make too much difference.

Easiest way to find it is A1, come off at Doncaster exit, go round the roundabout heading away from Doncaster, and head to Conisborough down A630. Carry on through Conisborough (everyone else does ) and after a few miles, you come to Hooton Roberts, and the pub will be on your right.

Teletext page 334 says a 36 year old man was killed last night in Sheffield driving a TVR. I hope it was nobody from the TVRCC meeting.

Shame you didn't make it Nubbin, there'd been 3 Tams then. Never seen that many together

Oi, I was born in the fine town of Conisbrough. Mind you I only stayed there for 18 months...

Found this on google news:

An man died after his car hit a wall in Sheffield yesterday morning.

The 36 year old, who lived in the Netheredge area of Sheffield, was driving a TVR sports car along the A625 Hathersage Road in Dore towards Bakewell soon after 7.30am when the collision happened.

He had apparently lost control of the car as he negotiated a left hadn bend outside the HSBC sports ground, 100 m on the Sheffield side of the junction with Ash House Lane and the car hit the dry stone wall to the nearside.

The driver suffered severe leg, pelvis and arm injruies and was later pronouced dead at the Northern General Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses to this collision. Please call the accident witness helpline on 0114 2202970.

On a lighter note, that was a cool meet last night. 23 TVRs and even another Tamora. I've seen 3 others now. Getting a bit common!

Good to chat to people and to put some faces to names. Only problem is that with PH names too, there is twice as much to remember!

Enjoyed the drive home, Kojak. I love the double take moment when everyone who is trying to surreptitiously check out the Cerb realised there was another tiv following!!

The opposite of Chris and me going to the meet. He was in front with me following and the kids shouted out that he had a cool 'Tuscan'. I bet he's always wished he could trade his Tamora in for something better. that was a joke
I won't mention my directions on the way there. I had a blonde moment!!!!
