Wolds Wazz - up at the crack of 'ducks fart'
Discussion
Unfortunately, I now cannot!!!
Ferrari not ready - so will be being delivered on a covered trailer to Manchester sometime mid-week... yes... I am well p1ssed off.
Don't know whether Griff will be ready to be picked up from paintshop or not yet, probably not as i want them to get it MOT'd early whilst it's there.
Bollox is all I say.
Tell you what, can we get a list of who's going and what cars.

Oh bugger! What's the hold up on the car Al?
Basically, the dealer has taken longer to do the full service than we hoped... when they came to put the cam covers back on after re-enamelling, one of the new gaskets was damaged and they didn't have another in stock so had to send......... anyway, that and the fact that they did fit the car in at v.short notice in the first place and they do not want to rush what is a pretty big job. (full engine out main service and cam belts).
Looks like it will be delivered on a covered trailer to Manchester early next week.
Am up for this, when you say the north bank I assumne this is the side leading to the M180? Is there a lay by or something to meet in?
Thanks and looking forward to it!
Sorry to hear of the car Al, as you say....best to get the job done right, I had to wait a while longer to pick the Porker up too.
Best Regards
Martyn.

Meet point is the Home Farm Travel Inn car park (away from the building to avoid waking the residents). The T.Inn is easily found off the A63 on the way into Hull, basically you come off the eastbound for A15 Humber Bridge and at the 1st roundabout you take the 4th exit (1st is blanked off, 2nd is a tip, 3rd is for A15 Humber Bridge and 4th is a small lane, with the T Inn on the immediate right. For those coming from the area - you know where it is.
As posted, departure is 6.30 am. There's a Shell garage on the way into Hull on the A63 (South Cave) and there's one at 4 miles into the route also (Willerby).
Send me an e-mail for my mobile number.
Al, sorry to hear about the fezza and the griff. Don't bother with lottery tickets this weekend then hey ;-). If you're interested in a shot in a supercharged Z or (need to ask fisrt) mates M3CSL, let me know.

Stu, that's a possibility. Might just bring the uber-cruiser and leave it there... as long as we are returning to the Travel Inn that is!
Martyn! Are you definitely up for this?
CAN WE GET A LIST GOING PLEASE SO WE KNOW WHO'S GOING & WHO TO WAIT FOR!
car xxx - Stub
Porsche 993TT - Mod500
TVR Griffith 500 - Burriana (or blagging a lift!)

etc
Just copy this and paste it into a new post to add names.
Thanks for the directions Stu, much appreciated, I know where you mean now Will fill up at the Shell garage near South Cave. Will mail you my mobile no.
Al, yes am up for this. Will defo be up and ready for action as am on antibiotics so cannot drink hardly anything ....as this would be the stumbling block usually to a Sunday morning outing! You are welcome to come with me for a bit amongst the other rides on offer, though it is worth checking the route comes back to the Travel Inn! Though am not bothered about driving you back to the T.I anyway where ever we finish.
Thanks
Martyn.

Think i'd best come in the uber-cruiser... you're all bloody "geaarmans"
Redbeck
Naah, that's far too posh an eating establishment for me!
Martyn, if I can have a provisional lift with you that would be great... unless it's a cracking morning and there's a rag top on offer
i think John (Willy Worm) said he was up for this now, in which case that'll be a Chimeara to add.

Yes put me on the list:
Chimaera - Willyworm.
Oh by the way Al, Chris says you can borrow his Uno, but you must remember to check the oil every 2 miles, and what ever you do, do not fill up with Optimax as the thing is likely to blow up!
How about meeting up at Glews?
You can have a lift with me Al.

You want a convoy with the uber-cruiser???
Prob easier if I see you there, purely for the reason that I don't need to pull off the motorway These oil burners take a bit to get up steam you know!
I'll aim to get to the Travel Inn car park between 6 and 6-15.
Right: going off line now so if anything changes will someone let me know please. Both MOD500 & Willy Worm have my No. See you Sunday!

What a blast!
Cannot thank Stu enough for extending this z-roadster drive out to PH'ers. The z-boys and girls are a great bunch too.
I think it inappropriate to post numbers on here, but the drive was very brisk and attending cars fetlocks were really flowing in the morning haze
My mind is changed also on the genre that befits the z-roadster, after this morning it is banished from the realms of the salon and podgy effeminate gentleman in ill fitting tight t-shirts to the world of the real sports car....honest, the 3.0, ZM, and 2.8 supercharged cars there today were fast.
Best Regards
