Does anyone know if this is available for track days all the time, or is it at special times ?

i.e, if I fancied going over friday would it be open ?

They're usually in the PH calendar. Word of warning though, it's not an MSA registered track so track day insurance normally isn't valid even if they say it is.

If you go then please don't skid off the track. The grassed areas are like ploughed fields so cars hitting them sideways will risk being flipped over.

I've been once and found the tyre wear excessive, rips and pieces of rubber missing. The surface is very rough in places. Good days tracking though. I'd go again provided my tyres were on their way out already.

www.bookatrack.com

I believe they do monthly sessions at Elvington? All the info should be in the above link.

They only seem to do Saturdays though.

I wanted to whizz over one friday afternoon & have a play.

Cheers anyway.

Hobo,

Easytrack have done the occasional Friday there, Bookatrack and Javelin do regular monthly days on either Saturday or Sunday. Costs between £59-£99

Tis great fun as loads of run off but be warned that it can be stonechip city if they haven't swept the tarmac, also severe on tyres
