On Sunday August 29th the village of Sproatley (east of Hull, alongside Burton Constable Hall) will be having a bit of a do, with some classic cars and bikes on show. Proceeds are for good causes.
Cars will be roped off from the public.
Anyone thinking of attending would be made most welcome. Please let me know if so and I will give them an idea of numbers. Thanks, Geoff

I'll have to clear it with the Officer Commanding (Domestics), but it sounds like a plan to me.

Just make sure the weather is as good as it was this weekend!

The event starts at noon; I would suggest we meet at 11.00 somewhere everyone can find on the west side of Hull (close to M62 and Humber Bridge routes).
I will scout around and respond with a suitable hotel car park beforehand.
I can lead you across to the event approx 11.30 (about 15 mins drive) to the village and we can get in position.
There are a number of good local pubs for food later, and we could always have a blast up the coast if weather is nice.
Cheers,

Geoff

There`s also a very nice stately home next to the event. It would be an idea to trundle up and take some nice pics in front of it.
Some idea of numbers attending also useful (always difficult to gauge though, I know)

Sorry Lads, can't make this one due to work. If the Brigg day was anything to go by, then this will be a good day too. Sorry I can't be there.

Looks like I’ll be able to come in the Griff.

Swindorski46, I’ve just checked out your profile and I’m on your Cerbera photo. I’ve never been in a spotted, so does this count.

Cheers,

Simon.

Hi guys , pleasure to meet you all last weekend. Unfortunately, I've already committed to going to the Tatton Show next weekend to man the stand. Hopefully see you at another similar event in the not too distant future though. Have a good day there.

There are four of us stood talking, though you can only see three. I’m the one on the left almost looking at the camera, in front of the gazebo.

OK guys, how does the Humber Bridge Viewing Area sound? There`s a big car park there, and it is a good photo op, as has been said.
Coming off the bridge on the Hull side there`s a signpost at one of the roundabouts to the viewing area.
M62 users need to follow Humber Bridge signs and again come off at the viewing area.
This is where a lot of the bikers meet before Barton bike night; a fairly convenient spot.
Sunday August 29th. I would suggest a meeting time of 11.00, although I`ll be there before then.
As I said, I can lead you over to the classic show/gala doodad about 11.30.
Hope the weather is kind!
My mobile number is: 07791 282485
Cheers,
Geoff
