Martyn you Muppet

The idea was to have a couple of days harmless fun wondering who might have said such a thing.... as i didn't think anyone would put it down to you for a minute!

Guess that's this thread closed then... unless

Q - Who out of us do people think most likely to have said it if it wasn't Martyn

a - Chim Girl on Gemini's BNG possibly?

a - Burriana's wife on hearing him say that he was going to check out Martyn's porker???

anymore for anymore?

there's still life in this thread yet smiley

Oh... and i do believe I have bought you up to speed on the F348 scenario - YHM

My mind is fixed on three... Tuscan S, TSO or F348.

Now which one do you think I would lose least on in depreciation

Haven't got a clue. Any ideas about relative maintenance costs? I was very surprised how cheap Flasher's Masser is, (£800 service every 12K - cheaper than my S at this rate..)

well bearing in mind that the 348 will probably only drop about £1k a year until it bottoms out at around the 20-25k mark....

Servicing is about the same as the Masser - around the £600 - £800 mark.

Ferrari I think it is then, but only if a Spider, (nice black one in the classifieds now..).

I'd love a Tuscan S, but at some stage I have to own a Ferrari even if just for the summer..

In fact, the very one that sparked my interest. If one like that is available next spring then it shall be mine

if I can find someone who would want the Griff that is, complete with new carpets AND two sets of over mats, one charcoal, one red

The 348 is just a bit too 80´s imho, and some of the bodywork looks like an afterthought. The spider does look better than the coupe though. I looked at them as an option when I bought the Tuscan. A 355 would be a def yes though.

now where's that pastel cotton jacket and espadrils gone

I'd like to see if I could get one with a clear engine cover too

Ok, might not be bang on, but I reckon a '94 £39k 348 today would still fetch mid-30s in two or three years time. The early 80s Ferraris are still fetching mid-20 for good ones.

Anyone know how much the F348 was new?

Interesting... the only 348 they have listed is €109k!

But the price guide seems near with 40k reckoned for a good one.

Ta for that Rich
