I will more than likely be there, at least during the daytime, but due to the nature of the job I don't like to make guarantees about my attendance, pay a deposit and then bomb out at the last minute. It tends to put me, and the organiser of the event, out one way or another.

Could I just add that although it is understood that the common concensus was to make the event an overnighter, I for one was thinking more along the lines of camping, rather than a dinner dance and hotel. Just my own personal opinion of course.

I hope it all works out well as it would be a shame to see all of your hard work be in vain.

I'll look forward to seeing you there, if not before.

The plan has always been to do a day meet, then a good run back to overnight venue, then back out again on the Sunday. Best of both worlds.

I have even got Vicki to agree to get a babysitter for the event!

Even if you can't make the day do, the evening is going to be good... call it a rehearsal for Black Tie & Pie if you will

Hadn't booked as I was supposed to be somewhere else that weekend. Thats looking like its going to be postponed now, (how difficult can it be for someone to organise a stag do?).. If so, I'll be along..
