Thanks to Rich for organising tonights run out. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Much better to see, hear and feel the cars in action than just sitting around talking about it!

The only problem was that I suspected that my alternator fuse may have broken just before we got to the second pub, and I was concerned that I wouldn't make it home.

It had, and I didn't!!

About two miles from home, knowing it was dying and begging it to just get me home, it stopped in the turn right lane on the A59!
Two passeres by stopped to help me get out of the middle of the road and then my darling wife came to the rescue with the Mundaneo and a set of jump leads to charge the battery enough to get me back.

Not an ideal end to a good night, but i definately had a good time and at least I'm back home, with the car, all in one piece.

Now, because I've taken my Mini to pieces, how on earth am I going to get to work tomorrow.....

Disaster for you and the Cerb! It seemed to be doing OK heading back to Wighill but obviously it wasn't playing ball!

Thanks again for the hoon!

Also thanks to Rich for organising the event, it was great fun and a good chance to get out in a convoy and use the cars.

The convoy looked and sounded superb, especially the Spitfire fighter plane cunningly disguised as a silver 450SEAC!

Hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and I would love to see the video which was been filmed during the drive!
