How do we intend eating - large bbq?
or nip to the shops at stratford and all chip in some brass - french bread chicken etc?

Suggestions on this postcard

I have about 24 quarter pounder beefbugers and 30 sausages in my freezer leftover from the weekend so I'll bring those. We also have lots of bottles of water and lemonade too

I have bought one of those stainless steel portable BBQs that, I think it was Andy, had at cars in the park. I suppose I could try and squeeze that in, but will we then have too many of the damn things if we all bring them?

But how are we going to keep masses of beer cold past the first evening? Unless james is planning on plugging a chest freezer into the genny?

I had planned to pick up some camping food (boil in bag pasta and the like) and bring it down with me, it now appears as if a mate ("Mr Friendly" on here) is coming with. No space for food or indeed the tent now (well just but it'll be a tight squeeze).

My thoughts were to pitch the tent, blah, blah, blah and then head into Stratford and get some supplies. If people are running a BBQ you reckon we could chuck some burgers on the side? I'm starting to think sorting the box out on the back is a better idea Huge fecking thing it is that will destroy the handling and looks

I don't drink so we'll be sober and can head to Stratford at any time to get bits and bobs if anyone needs them

Blimey, how big were the bags of pasta.

I'm sure there will be enough BBQ's going for you to find space to cook a few bits and bobs - providing they're not lentil burgers.

The car's small and Dave's a big fella

Ok, honestly the roof takes up the boot so with anyone in the Passenger seat space is severly limited, put the tent a couple of sleeping bags... I have a wooden box on the back so I'll guess we'll be using that.

Your right Gemini, about 60% protein when dried. In this case it is better to snort them than make burgers.

On a serious note, I think I can get the Webber BBQ in behind the seats, it will be OK for 20-30 people as long as you don't all want to eat at once. Will bring it along with a load of charcoal unless anyone has other ideas.
