Sounds about right. They've become popular and have an inflated sense of self-importance where they think they are more important than the businesses and homes around them.

Wednesday or Thursday evening is my preferred time, it's only round the corner so if the suns is out I'll head for an ice cream with my boy (which always costs me a Hot wheels too!) .
Thanks, I’ll give a Wednesday or Thursday a go if we hit a sunny one!

Probably a bit short notice now but does anyone fancy a runout over the moors early doors starting in York, then finishing at The Motorist for about 9:30? If there are 3 or 4 people keen I can try and arrange it.

Nice idea, I ran a little loop local to the Motorist for the Pistonheads event last year. Only had one car join me but we had fun.

Sadly can’t go this year!

Some twisties:

I thoroughly enjoyed last year's run out but can make it this time I'm afraid.
Hope you get a good one!

I think the learner bike is just tethered to a trailer but I would imagine the fields and hedges on the way out might have a few recently trained folk talking a closer look.

If it's anything like other events of late the gates will be open at 9am but the actual place open at 10am.

I got there just before 10am for the PH event that started at 10am thinking that's when the gates opened and the car park was already full.

I can't make tomorrow unfortunately but suspect it'll be a busy one with lots to see.

Sorry it’s late notice but there’s the Classic Car Show and Autojumble at Ripon Race Course today. Plenty of nice motors and weather looking good.

Redline have an event on tomorrow, will be busy if the weathers good.

Bear in mind there are loads of holes in the road on the way in and temporary traffic lights, it could be a bit of a queue (i'll not be going on a Sunday till this is sorted!).

Took the family up there weekend before last for the Cops & Cars event, absolutely loved it! The lad got to sit on bikes, in police cars and fire engines etc, great day out.

We got there fairly early (I say early, around 10am) and glad we did as when we left at 1pm after lunch the queue was almost back to the main road, not helped by the two (TWO) sets of roadworks/lights.

I love the motorist, I only live 15 minutes away so go quite regularly for breakfast n the restaurant. And my old Boxster can be seen on their website, and most of their marketing images. We went for lunch one afternoon and they had a big drone flying around taking video and photos biggrin
