No panel damage; literally want our roof sprayed in a gloss black colour. Can anyone recommend me a good place.

Bumped to add that I would consider a wrap. Depends which would be best.

First class work and not too expensive.

I used Milton Auto bodies on Liverpool road Eccles a while back for a crash repair on my silver Escort. First rate work with an excellent match in paint colour.

Which end of Manchester? (N-S-E-W?)

Have always had a good job done by Cheshire Autobody in Knutsford. Not the cheapest, but managed to do a perfect match on what's a particularly tricky pearlescent white on one of the cars, an equally good job on a couple of others I've had, decent wheel refurbs, etc.

If it was me, would probably depend on whether the roof was intended to EXACTLY match the rest of the car or not. As a single item, could probably get it done particularly cheap. Hell, you could sand & prime it yourself, etc.

Cheers guys

It is for a Nimbus grey Renault Clio RS200 Cup. Pics:

It has less than 3,000 miles on it and is as new but I fancy having the roof done in a gloss black to match the front bumper and rear diffuser.

I had a quote for a wrap (£90) so I am wondering whether to get a spray job or just go for the wrap.

Wrap it you wont notice the difference and it can be removed when you get bored of it or sell it.

+1 If it's just the roof, definitely a wrap. Easy panel to do, no fancy edges, easy to remove, and you / the next owner can make a call on it at any point. Will save you a three figure sum over having it sprayed, too.
