The in-laws are coming over from Malaysia for the birth of our first child in June.

My brother in law is car mad and wanted to get him one of the supercar experiences for his 21st while he's over here... however, he's only got an international license and the few I have spoken to are a bit reluctant.

I remember when I last went to one they did pax laps you could buy on the day. Can you just turn up and get one or do you need to be on the experience day? Also, does anyone have any recommendations of company/location?

Cheers

I did Drivers Dream Days last year and was pleasnatly surprised. Drove a Gallardo and Murcielargo and they let me drive them as hard as I could.

Always have offers on, so you can get a lot for a couple of hundred quid.

He'll be able to drive them at 21 years old, not just take pax laps!!

Its not his age, more the international license that seems to be the problem.

Emailed the new Simon address but no response yet, will keep trying!

Hmmm...shouldn't make too much difference, maybe just a small increase in insurance premium to them (passed onto you).

Or alternatively, if you are struggling, nip down to Oulton Park on a track day, make friends with as many drivers of posh cars as you can in the morning and bum as many pax laps as you can in the afternoon.

Good choice with 6th Gear. I'd recommend them too, I bought an R8 & LP640 ride for my mother's birthday. She had a great day... they messed up the car she was meant to be driving (had her in the orange Murcie instead of the LP640) but they gave her a free ride in the Challenge Stradale for the mistake.

It'll be a great day. smile
