I was actually thinking a race weekend at Oulton could be perfect.

I went along to BG's barn weakened last year and that format worked well. I have alos enjoyed all the Piston fests and seem to remember there being a lot more than 30 people at them all, having said that it was along time ago.

I think you can also camp at the tatton car shows witch are usually interesting events. Maybe we could have a PH stand assuming people dot need to be on club stands.

It is certainly a possibility!

I'm thinking of booking that again for this summer. It was a good turnout, we filled the barn and the log cabin too.

Have had the Marcos on show at P-o-P for all three prior years, and this year it is three days. It seems a shame to camp so near to home, as for me the best part of the day is driving the car to and from the event - it drives me nuts just watching it parked in a display. However, maybe I am missing the best PH get together you can imagine. There is time for an evening run out and then camp..could be fun.

Gold Cup at Oulton is the other MUST attend fest (albeit end of season). Clubs have space on the main bank to show their cars and watch the racing. If nothing else we must arrange a time and place for a meet-up of PHers at the Gold Cup.

Yes, there is also the F3 and BGT championships over easter bank holiday. The main events can be a little dull, but the support races, Abarth cup, Ginetta Cup and VW cup are vastly entertaining! I missed the Gold cup last year for some reason, but i have been twice before, good to see the old priceless cars being raced.

weekend social, camping, driving, eating and drinking sounds good! I'd personally rather have a drive than a static show.

Sounds like a good idea, I'd be up for it.
