Chorley - 'haunted' house

Just been looking through my comp for a pic of a site i surveyed a while back and came across a pic of the former Northolme Care Home on Preston Rd, Chorley.

Wondered what had happened to the place and did a google search - turns out it was going to be turned into apartments.

Anyway, just had a look on google streetmap and found it.

Don't worry mate. Leave it long enough and they'll put either a roundabout or supermarket or charity shop on it. That's all the town is now.

Glad i left as soon as i was old enough 17 years ago - i still get the 'orrors every time we have to go back (not often) to see the wifes family. Good job my parent left recently or i wouldn't see them much either...

The middle picture is a fake. You can tell as the sky is blue - it rains all the time in Chorley.
