Careful - black ice!

It might be a little late to warn people, but there's loads of black ice around this morning. Accidents on the A580 close to the M6, M6 is blocked, and M62 is closed between J8 and J10.

Some of the worst black ice conditions i've ever driven in this morning. Anything over 15 to 20 mph and you were completely out of control. Lost count of the number of shunts I saw, the guys on SilkFM were imploring people to slow down and constantly listing accidents on the main routes. Congleton sounded completely cut-off at one point by traffic stuck because of the accidents.

Hopefully conditions will improve by tonight.
