Evening all,

Been on the M6 heading up past Kendal and Lancaster etc. recently and saw the signs for speed cameras.

Made me think about how many times I've been up and down that road, yet have never seen any cameras or seen anyone slow down.

Wondered if anyone knew what sort of cameras they use there? Is it just mobile cameras on bridges?

Cheers,

Matt

Got done there 10 years ago by a cop on a bridge.

They motorway police like to sit and wait at the Kendal junction, either nicking you on your way dwon from Shap, or on the Northbound run towards it.

Don't get much around Lancaster, but once you get upto Kendal and beyond look out for lovely yellow Transits sitting on the bridges.

Then once you go past, don't put your foot down again, often they'll put another one a couple of bridges along to catch you out lol.

Used to commute Lancaster to Penrith/Carlisle daily, so you get used to their favourite spots!
