European Beer Shops??

A bit of a strange request this.

I'm off to a friends in Cambridgeshire next weekend and i'm wanting to take some quality Belgian and Eastern European drink with me. Obviously places like Asda sell the usual stuff like Leffe and Tyskie, but i'm after stuff like Westmalle and big bottles of Duvel.

Does anyone know of an outlet or store anywhere in the North West that specialises in the less mainstream beers? I've heard theres a place in Altrincham but I gather this is a bar only?

Booths supermarket in knutsford has hundreds of speciality beers. I think most are real ales but there are probably a fair few European ones too. There are a few booths around in the north, best take a look at their website.

If you're near Manchester, try Carringtons in Chorlton or Didsbury. They've always got a good mix of European beers in.

I shall be paying the bottle stop a visit tomorrow on my way back from Northwich
