Not sure if you're on here or not, but if you are, you gave us your ticket as you left (we were in a Blue Golf) - THANKS - saved us one entrance fee!

Cheers
Kirsty

I wasn't in the Audi but it was a good day at the races, wasn't it?

yep - so glad we went . . spent all morning trying to decide if the weather was worth risking!

I loved that little green ginetta, got a good pic of him throwing flames out, will post it when I get five mins to check all the pics and resize etc smile

Yeah, get some photos up! I've got a few to get through as well, but was at Silverstone the next day so have all off those to sort out as well! Was the Ginetta perhaps Danny Winstanley's TVR Tuscan? Green with a big wing enjoying a fierce scrap with a yellow 997 GT3 in GT Cup?

Possibly - we weren't 100% on what it was, we missed the first race, it was scrapping with a black Ferrari or Lambo (IIRC) in the second race.

Just looked at the race results and yeap, I got it wrong; it was the green TVR Tuscan, which I thought was a ginetta. Came second and had the fastest lap in the last race. Kirsty that photo is immense, get that one up here :-)

No problem - we used to go to Oulton and watch the TVR Tuscan Challenge when I was growing up so really fun to see Danny racing one so quickly now. I managed a couple of photos of it.

Scrapping with Alex Martin's 997.

Heading for Hislop's.

Lifting a wheel over the Knickerbrook kerbs.

This is the best pic I got - loved the way the flames lit up the wheel smile

For all you Oulton Park goers, the final 2 rounds of the Dunlop TVR Challenge is there on Saturday October the 16th biggrin . A grid in excess of twenty is expected with V6 Tasmins, V8 Tasmins, V8 Griffs, Cerbera, Tuscans, Sagaris, and maybe a couple of invitation cars.

Qually and two races on the same day! Quickest cars on the program! Hope to see you there. Make sure to have a look around the paddock and if you spot red Tasmin #24 come over and say HELLO!!

Tempted...

The racing season keeps expanding - VSCC See Red at Donington, MSVR at Croft, TVRs at Oulton. Brilliant stuff!
