Well the dreaded summer holidays are upon us, which means entertaining the brats.

I have 3 girls (10, 9 and 5) and was wondering where to take them over the holidays, have any of you any suggestions on where to take them that won't break the bank, with having 3 of them?

Many thanks.

Looks good if you like animals, a friend works there.

My 2 boys, only toddlers, like Acorn Farm at Kirlby - feed the animals and all for charity too - google it.

Got family who work at the World of Glass, St Helens too - supposed to be a decent day out - not been for years myself.

My pleasure - hope it helps.

For what it's worth we took ours (aged 2 and 3) to the Blue Planet Aquarium last weekend - it's good but way too much money in my view. £50.00 for the 4 of us plus £20.00 for a pretty dreadful 'meal' in the restaurant.

As I say, the place is good but the experience was tainted by the feeling we didn't get real value.

As you say, Blue Planet is dear and it's all over very quickly.

Went to blue planet the other day. It is expensive (14 off quid per adult) but you can get 2 quid off with a voucher from thier website. Still a nice day out but as said before it's over pretty quick.

Great idea. We take ours to Decathlon or Go Outdoors - they can spend hours running in and out of all the tents. Also gives me a great excuse to buy more camping equipment.
