Garage With Tech 2 Diagnostics Equipment

Does anyone know of a garage around Stockport or South/East Manchester that has Tech 2 diagnostics equipment? It needs to be an indie garage as Vauxhall won't touch it unless it's a Monaro/VXR8 specialist dealer, and the nearest one to me is in Derby.

The car stalled the other day and when I restarted the airbag warning light came on. Being a latching switch it can't simply be reset so it needs someone with Tech 2 to reverse it. With the circumstances of how it happened and knowing the electrics on the car I'm half guessing once it's reset it will be OK, but when I contacted VX they wanted to crawl the car looking for the cause of the fault running up a huge bill. I'd rather take my chances with an indie garage resetting it and seeing what happens before I make arrangements for a day off work to go to Derby and hand my wallet over.

Gave Mike a call this morning, 3 hours later he was sat next to the car, diagnosed the fault and fixed the air bag error. Absolutely superb chap, thanks for the recommendation!

Not much use to you now, but... I have a couple of OBD2 devices for most makes/models built up over the years if anybody ever needs to borrow one to do a quick warning light check/reset/etc. in future.

Has anyone ever used the tech 2 or such devices to enable cruise control on the astra h? And do you where I can have it done, vauxhall are robbing b******s. Thank you
