The blast down the Stran in Liverpool last month was a prelude to the main event http://www.cpop.co.uk/ . I (and a few other PH's) went last year and it's a really good event which is bound to get bigger and better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m-1HzPRhlM

Yes, I'll definitely be there with the Lomax. Went last year and had a fabulous time. Do you know if there is a PH stand as there was last year?

I haven't organised anything this year as I've been tied up with another club.

I'll be there with the Lamborghini Club.

Anyone else planning to camp over? Fancy meeting up for some beers and a bbq?

Ah, so that was your doings last year. Well I must say you did a rather good job, it was a good collection of cars and well organised!

Thanks Niall. Yes, the PH stand did have a diverse amount of cars, which was great. TBH, I would have liked to have organised a PH stand for this year, but with work and co helping for the www.lanciarally.com etc, etc. Let's see what next year brings???

I'll be there for Saturday at the very least. I had wondered if you'd organise another stand this year, Lawrence. We really enjoyed getting our cars on there last year. Goodwood FoS, Le Mans Classic, CPoP, Silverstone Classic and Brands Hatch Superleague in 5 consecutive weekends in July. Crikey!

Haha mercifully the latter but she loves racing too so she's coming to Goodwood and Classic Le Mans. She's pretty understanding about my selfish desires to watch cars every weekend...

Well the Sunday at CPoP is my wedding anniversary (same as last year) and, even though she's grumbled a "little" bit, we'll be having some fizz on the Saturday whilst watching the proms event, then sleeping it off in a tent!!!

Well we had a good time last year and have been assured that catering and toilet facilities within the car club area will be available. I agree with a poster with regards to the Auto Italia events, although (the same with CPoP) we are part of the show and thus have discounted tickets. Let's face it, with CPoP, what are people going along to see? Are they REALLY just coming to have a look at the car clubs? We're there to support their event and they help us with discounted tickets.

True, but everyone can get a discount via Classic and Sports Car. (Thanks for that PH) It's not the tickets I'm banging on about, it's the position of the clubs and facilities, the toilets are always within the in-field. They seem to be cast aside, not included, not appearing to be supportive. Just 'there' in the car park. The first year the clubs were welcomed, in a semi-decent area, since they have been cast aside.

Lot's of great cars planned again this year with the Sporting Bears Dream Rides, Hope the sunshine lasts through to the event, PH Calendar and I will post a list of cars soon but already a couple of Porsches, Ferraris, Atoms, an Ultima GTR, Lola T70 oh and the return of the Jaguar XJ220!

Should be a good show what ever the weather.

As always PHers, come and chat to the Bears to see how your fantastic car can be appreciated and raise money for Charity at events around the UK.

Hope the weather is as good as it was yesterday when I was there. I only made the Sunday last year and whilst it was a great event, I got absolutely soaked in the afternoon!

I'll be there Saturday in my 306 Rallye. I'm on animal collection duties that weekend so the Elise is staying firmly in its garage!
