I am the restaurant manager of The Hollies Farm Shop at Lower Stretton Warrington we have got a great place which would be perfect as a meeting place and as i fellow pistonheader i would love to get regular meetings going here we have got a massive car park, fresh food,wine & beer. If your interested send me a message.
I reckon we could get a good few of the North West folks along - good location for me 
Might be worth a 'local' meet first to get a feel for the size of place etc, then plan something bigger. I reckon a Sunday morning breakfast meet to bring together all the North West crowd would be ace. Sure I could persuade the 'Red Cat (was Wheatsheaf)' crowd to come along

Did a bit of a recy on this plce. Very nice, cafe open til 5pm and shop open til 7pm with the gates closing at 7.30pm. So if it is just an evening thing, will have to meet there and go somewhere else afterwards. But the car park is great and can hold a lot of cars.
There are a good few routes to the tunnels, so the drives will be good from here.
Are people interetsed in a south manchester drive. I have been thinking about find some good roads.
