Hi all,

I'm going to be 30 this year and would like to celibate by hiring something interesting to drive for the weakened. as some of you know I drive an Elise as daily transport and have a Marcos for weakened fun. I'm interested in hiring something light and fast Radical SR3, Atom, R400/500, Ultima, Noble or something else in a similar line can any body recommend a company or car?

I have never heard of anyone who hires out that sort of car for road use - there are plenty of track day companies that do and from memory Book a track rent a few caterhams that are good value.

You could hire something like a ferrari 360 for the weekend - the other left field choice is to get a cheapo flight to Germany and do a track day at the ring with someone like Ron Simons who will give any sort of car you want with an instructor to blast round the ring.

have fun

thanks for the reply, to be honest while I have lusted after a Ferrari of one form or another for many years driving one for the weakened just do not hold the same attraction as any one of a number of more focused lighter cars. I still want a Ferrari at some point, I just think that the visrel experience of driving something much lighter smaller and open will leave a longer lasting impression. Its also interesting that while the Ferrari may cost 4 to 6 times as much as something I want to hire for the weakened people seem very keen to give me the keys to the Ferrari but not a fast 7 or similar car.

I have seen the Caterham service if I had not recently spent a good bit of time in one I would be interested by the SV.
