Thur 29th April - The Red Cat, Crank (the new 'sheaf meet)
Discussion
Have just visited the Red Cat at Crank - superb little pub and wonderfully friendly and welcoming owners! The pub is actually located on the one of the original routes we used to drive, just before you head down the hill past the hospital
The owners (Geoff and Jackie) are happy for us to meet up and will section off the second part of the car park specifically for our use! (Drive to the back of the car park and turn left into the second area - Geoff may have it coned off for us)
I will stress however that the pub is busy with customers eating there on a Thursday night so we must ensure we don't impact that at all - so if everyone can please stick to the second part of the car park and be polite and courteous (which I know we tend to be anyway )
Format will remain as it was for the Wheatsheaf meets - if we can show up before 7.30pm aiming to head out on the run at 7.30pm sharp (especially until it's lighter longer). Either myself or Lawrence will lead the first run and then we'll have a proper natter afterwards about future runs
As the pub does good food Dave and I will be getting there for about 18.20 to grab some food - if anyone wants to join us please let me know as we'll let Geoff and Jackie know numbers
Pub Details:

The website is currently out of date so please don't rely on the menu information etc - it's no longer linked to the Colliers pub and they haven't updated thier website yet.
Any questions, let me know

Of course you're welcome!
Ignore Ed, he's just grumpy I went for a blast on Sunday rather than to visit him at the gallery Or maybe he's grumpy cos he's a year older today
They do serve food up until half nine however they did say they couldn't cater for us if we all wanted to eat that late - the odd person should be fine though
