Next Thursday, I need to organise a meal for 10 in Manchester.
Was planning on eating Italian. Any recommendations for a good un? (Not too pricey).

Don Giovannis at the very top of Oxford road (just before it enters the square) used to be really really good when it was in the smaller buidling over the road, i've not been since they moved into the larger premises on the opposite side of the road, but as I say they used to be excellant.

This is the place:

Not been for a while but Cocotwo (?) near the Palace Theatre used to be great and catered for medium size parties

+1 & again I haven't been since they were across the road, because last time I went, they had just introduced double yellow lines, no parking at anytime system, along Oxford Road, and surrounding streets. I ended up walking for a quarter of a mile in the pissing rain, after finding somewhere to park (at 8.30pm ). Unfortunately another result of those "braindeads" in GMC wanting to rape everyones pockets!!

Don Giovannis is well worth considering.

Our Studio is very near there so we often pop in for dinner. 4 courses, Italian style. Washed down with a Grappa. Or two. wink

For Italian San Carlo's is the place. Rosso (Rio Ferdinands place) is good, but San Carlos is the DB's.
