Specs scameras in road works

The specs cameras on yellow gantries that sprout up in most of the 50mph sections of the M'ways point towards the front of vehicles. Does that mean that motorbikes are not able to be prosecuted on their evidence?
Been to Reading (and back) today, M6, M40, A404 and M4 have all got extended speed restricted sections. Soon the whole lot will be 50mph at this rate!
