someone is trying to organise a meet under the thread name bolton in the NW section. Thats not too far away from you so I think I would start there. There is also going to be meets at the wheatsheaf (spelling probably wrong) and at the cat and fiddle over the summer months but dates and times haven't been put up yet. The C&F is a bit of a trek but does make a good run for bikers (i'm sure you're aware of the new average speed cameras @ 50mph going up).

We at Unphased meet every 3rd Thursday at the Boatyard pub in Hoghton (between Preston & Blackburn).
Its mostly VW's but we welcome anyone with an interest in cars, in summer we get numbers of 90 or more and a few people from Pistonheads have been along before.

You just missed the excellent Breakfast Meet in Lytham at the end of last month, hopefully Sider will be arranging another one sometime this year.

The Wheatsheaf meet http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... is localish (Nth of ST Helen's) and gets a good crowd. I'm in Leyland and it takes less that 30 minutes to get down there. Oh, and before anyone says anything, that is at legal speeds
