Who is up for meeting at the Tickled Trout, say about 9am for a convoy up to the Breakfast Club meet?

A few from my club will be meeting there, would love to see some more join us, preferably someone who knows the way as well lol! :-)

Don't forget about the road closure!

I'd head to M55 J3, then turn right, past the building with the TVR logo on the side, towards Wrea Green, and then head for Lytham.

If you get to a McDonalds in Lytham that is on the RIGHT HAND SIDE - then you've passed it!

It's on the same side as McDonalds - between there and the Land Registry (which is on the other side of the road) and is signposted 'Great Birchwood Country Music Park' and various other signs such as 'Car boot every Sunday' etc etc!!

If we come off at M55 J3 and head right, isn't that going North though?

Do we want South on the A585?

ta.

M55

J3

Turn LEFT - A585 through Wesham, past the pub to the roundabout.

Then straight on through Wrea Green and Moss Side.

Lytham Road - turn left onto it.

Place is just before Warton. If you get to the Land Registry office - you've missed it.

(NOTE to all - on the map there is a wriggly little road between Higher Ballam and Moss Side. If anybody is thinking of coming in the scenic route to take in the roads/sights - be warned! This is pretty much a potholed infested farm track - and i mean that - unsurfaced. Messy! It's called Brays Road and should be avoided at all costs!!

I can't make it this time unfortunately as im at uni in coventry at the moment and can't make it back home. If there is a future gathering in the NW though i will try and make it home if the weather looks remotely acceptable.

Great stuff - i'd be there too but i need to be in Warton at 8ish.

Careful at the tickled trout - the motorway police HQ is just there.

Don't call him Shirley, there was never any proof...

I have found that following Mr 8v does expand one's aural experience somewhat.
