Cheap Run around £1000

Hi all, Just a brief Punt.

I am currently unable to gain oil pressure on my classic mini, which is declared sorn.

I am looking for a daily run-around.

Any vehicle <£1000. I currently only have 3years no claims therefore insurance is abit of an issue. Anyone seen anything knocking about on your travels or know of anything for sale locally?

I have trawled ebay and PH classifieds to not much avail.

Whats the criteria mate?

Do you want something interesting/fast or just a boggo spec Fiesta/Punto etc??

I'm a gumtree addict. Try there, although I am more confident spotting dodgy vehicles in Yorkshire than I feel I would be in Liverpool. Worth using as a resource.
