Lancaster drinks
Discussion
Rather than battering the winter snow thread http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/xforums/topic.asp?h=0..., i thought it best to start a new one.
So far, me, Bob1179 and KaraK have shown an interest in sorting out some beers in the fair city of Lancaster.
It's a busy time of year at the moment, so I reckon we try and sort something out for January...although this is just a suggestion that's open to review.
So, anyone else?

Ahhh, the good old one way system. It's a real pain in the arse. If you're coming down from Hest Bank there is no other way around it either.
I least I have the choice of a few different rat runs when I'm heading into town.
It can a kucking fightmare in rush hour. It's 9 minute journey from Hest Bank to my office near the bus station. Doesn't matter if it's raining, sunny, snow, busy, or quiet...9 minutes dead. In a car it varies from 25 minutes to an hour. I least I have the choice of a few different rat runs when I'm heading into town.

I now have an image of us going to the pub to be faced with some rough looking 'Cumbrians' in flat caps, wearing Barbor ponchos, big 'beards, holding six sheep with some music from a spaghetti western playing in the background.
I'm up for it.
EFA for KaraI'm up for it.

Their not all like that in Cumbria. I used to see a bird who lived in Kendal. She had cracking chebs, but wasn't the sharpest tool in the box.
