You may mock. SIX consecutive manufacturer WRC championship wins which STILL hasn't been surpassed. There is a new Delta (been out for 12 months now) on the market, but Fiat Group are putting their funds elsewhere. Club Lancia Sport sourced 4 of the iconic cars from our clubs membership for the show. The stig blew the engine on the Stratos (replica)!!!

To be fair, those 6 consecutive wins where against stiff competition as well...that Ford Model T went great ;-)

So - if The Stig blows up your car what happens? Do they force you at gunpoint to sign a waiver or do you get to rip the BBC off a rebuild?

The owner was asked to either rebuild it to the same spec or find a replacement, again, to the same spec, so that they could continue the filming. He only had about 3 weeks to get it sorted!

helo i was at the filming this week due to chris being on the show,the stratos is on the show,was a minter in the hanger,ive got pics sumwhere from wednesday,with the stig etc,will post later
