Decent NW Renault dealers/service
Discussion
Can anyone recommend a Renault service centre in the North West?
My other half's Grand Scenic is due it's annual service - we only bought it last December so haven't had it done anywhere as yet.
Most of the dealers in my area are Arnold Clark (i.e. Wigan, St Helens, Warrington etc) or Renault Retail Group (i.e. Bolton, Manchester etc). Heard mixed reports about both of these so would be keen to consider another place.
Are there any none AC or RR Renault dealers left in the North West??

Depending on where you are based there is a independant in Great Harwood where we always took our Alpine GTA going back a few years.

Good luck..
It's that bad?The Renault UK site is quite good - has a few service places listed that were probably dealers a while back and for whatever reason, lost the franchise.
There's also Clock Garage in Chorley, which i believe is a non massive group dealer.
Also, Lookers. I know they're a big group but i've not heard that much bad news about them.

I've used Renoworld a few times and never had a problem. Independent but you get a service book stamp etc.

lack of calls back, refusal to transfer calls, work just not done etc.
the best by far was dropped car off for a service, two other jobs, bonet cable seized and repair work to door (attempted entry)
they 'did' the service then tried to tell me it was a bodyshop visit to open the bonnet???? guy looked really confused when i asked them to prove the service had been done and i wouldnt take a grubby piece of paper with a few ticks on it as proof - as they claimed it was impossible even top open the bonnet let alone fix the cable - how did they check the dipstick after filling, infact how did they get the oil in there??
warrington was no better.. never tried manchester, gave the car back by that point.
laguna II, had it from new as a company car, great car just let down by the dealers.
