Does anyone know of any coming up soon? Maybe as part of a club I could maybe tag along with?
If not, then maybe setting up a NW Pistonheads one would be good, I don't know where though, anybody any suggestions? Do powerzone/minisport in Padiham have facilities?

I've just had my Saab remapped upto stage 1 which is approx 230bhp but it'd be interesting to see what its actually putting out.

Hi, I'm also the NW Rep of the SXOC club as well as a regular on here, and last year we invited about half a dozen cars onto our RR day at Dyno Demon.

I'll try and find the last thread, we have another day coming up on Sun 6th Dec and I was going to open it up on here again.

Price was £35 and includes print outs of bhp, torque, boost, fuelling etc.

We've used Dyno Demon a few times, they have always been helpful and friendly and made it an enjoyablw day :-)

Sounds good, £35 isn't too bad at all. I will definitely be up for this as long as I'm not working, if you start a thread on here I'll add my name to it when I know.

It was done by a member of UKSaabs who has many happy customers, with the tried and tested T5 suite, very popular amongst Saabists.

You normally only get a RR and print out if it's a custom map for the car. Whenever I've had generic maps for specific stages of tune I have never got them.

However, it's often been proved on RR days that the fuelling etc is better with some of the generics maps than the custom ones, for a number of valid reasons!

Yes its just a generic map, thats why I'm interested to see how suited (or not) it is to my car.

The Lancs Saab Owners Club had a dyno day at the newly installed dastek dyno. Located in the old mills of Chorley.
I've since been back to check my aero and was charged £40 for 2 runs with all parameters recorded.
The lancs club are planning another dyno day soon, google them to see when or go to the Ring o Bells, Burscough, first monday of the month for their meet, friendly bunch.
I'm planning another go on the dyno asap to check my stage 6 set up...need a base figure before I make some hardware changes.

Call me old fashioned, but if something is called a charity event I'd expect the majority goes to charity, not a token amount.

Also, make sure Prosport's printer is working. We used to have club rolling road days with them, but got fed up of them. The printer never worked properly for all 3 of our days, the promised prints outs in the post where from a different clubs day, we never got them, the whole event was a farce.

I'd use others before them :-)
