Engineers Supplies / Fasteners - Warrington
Discussion
Bit of a long shot this, but I need some metric fine set screws and I'm struggling to get hold of them.
Does anyone know somewhere in Warrington (or nearby) that's likely to be able to help and will sell a few rather than a few hundred?
Car related in that they're to attach a Caterham 6 speed gearbox to a Toyota 4AGE engine in my Striker

I always get bits from JR Webster who have a few stores around the North West. When I've needed the odd bolt they've always given it to me free of charge.

Thanks , but I've already tried the Wigan and Widnes branches of Websters and they don't have much metric fine stuff... Or not what I need anyway.
I'm looking for M12 x 1.5 and 80mm long... Thinking about it a bolt would probably do (I was thinking screw as that's what was in there originally, but I've got a spacer plate that'd take up the shank of a bolt now anyway).

I know I'm going to ge laughed at for suggesting it (even more so as I'm also a loyal customer of Websters , you may find Birkenhead and Deeside have more fine thread stuff in stock) but B&Q sometimes have fine metric thread set screws in small amounts

It's CTE Supplies in Latchford, not got anything longer than 50mm in M12 x 1.5 at the mo (although I didn't think about getting some bar and sticking nuts on the end tbh).
Thanks for all the suggestions, I ended up ordering some off the internet and paying more for a courier than the cost of the bolts as the posties are on strike Rang round several mail order places before I found any too, I think perhaps they're a bit rarer than I thought they'd be
