Heads up: M6 South this morning - speed gun

First time I have seen a Police man on a bride with a tripod based speed gun. Bet he makes a killing today, suppose it all depends on how lenient he is being.

M6 south bound, standing on the bridge a mile or so from J19 M6 south. This was about 10 minutes ago

Not sure but I thought I read that the spots have to be approved in advance kind of thing, aren't they published on the police website somewhere?

It may be an ANPR camera, I've not seen a motorway speed camera outside a van (yet).

Saw this as well.

The police car was hidden in the bushes with a cable run to the camera above the outside lane. the police man was no doubt having a donut in his car.

this is why I find it hard to respect the police anymore

On a side note, spotted a silver 330d unmarked police car the other day, near to Chorley hospital.

Seems they are buying smaller size cars as well.
