Car Transporter Hire

Does anyone know of anywhere in the North West (ideally Stockport/Manchester area) that has a car transporter for hire? I'm looking for something very similar to this

but I can only find companies that are down south. I would hire a trailer but I can't tow anything big enough on my license, and you can't fit tow bars to my car either which is a bit of a bummer.

If anyone knows of anywhere it'd be a huge help. Cheers in advance!

Try Glossop Motors in er......Glossop. They have all sorts of stuff there and its only about 7 miles from Stockport. Ask for Paul Goddard or Cheryl.

Toyota MR2 race car from here to Brands Hatch for a race and then back again near the end of the month. Quite a tall order I know... one of the probs of having a car that can't tow anything really.

Sounds like a long day, probably be too expensive for me to take it down for you and spend all day hanging around.

Essentially I’m looking at getting my track car to Brands Hatch in Kent for a race, going down Thursday evening (22nd October) and returning Saturday evening (24th October). I only have a basic driving license with I got after 1997, which from what I’ve read lets me drive up to a 3.5T van. The race car itself is quite small (Mk1 Toyota MR2) and doesn’t weigh more than 1.2 tons.

Is this something that’s workable? Let me know your thoughts.

Hodgsons are good to deal with. They delivered my WIllys Jeep to Oxford and collected my Ariel Atom for me from Somerset.

They collected my Atom in december 2011. I dont think they hired out their transporters then, they were driven
