Guys/girls, ive recently moved to Warrington and was wondering if anyone recommend any good places to eat out in the area?

Would be nice to know of pubs that serve decent food and also restaurants for eating out.

No real preference on food type

Thanks in advance smile

Stockton Heath would be my recommendation, loads of nice places there. Culcheth's got the best curry house though - the Mirage.

Culcheth also has another nice Indian called Spice Lounge.

Also, Duck Egg Bluu is quite nice there too.

Duck Egg Bluu is my favorite in the area, a little more expensive than just a pub grub type of place.

if you fancy a run out of town, Spinner and Bergamot in Comberbach is fantastic! smile
The Swan at Winwick's not bad although service wasn't that great on my last visit.
The Ring o Bells as Daresbury is nice too.

One of our lunch favourites is Puccinos in Stockton Heath. The Tapas bar there (Pan vino) was fab food, again though the service let it down.
Elaahi for indian takeaway - pick up only though no delivery service.

The swan's gone downhill, that was my favorite but as I said it's terrible now ;(

Memphis Belle is a great carvery too, definately go there if that's your thing. The Springbrook is also very nice for a 2for1 kind of place smile

There is an indian in Stockton Heath called the Rusoi, absolutely cracking food and nothing on the menu you've heard of!

Is that the one upstairs near the Post Office? If so their menu prices were (illegally) ex VAT when we went there. Agree that the food was excellent, but very expensive for a curry once you'd added it all up.

Yes it is, I agree pricey but i believe you can't put a price on quality food.
