Wheatsheaf Meet - Thursday 24th Sept

Well, someone had to start a thread sooner or later. So roll up folks, get yourselves down to the Wheatsheaf on Thursday 24th for tyre kicking, banter and a nice drive out. We'll set off for the run at 7:30pm sharp as usual.

Does anyone have a route worked out for this one, or a suggestion of one we could use?

This is a month of excuses, all good and valid ones though :-)

We removed the old engine from my car last weekend, and I don't fancy doing a Fred Flintstone impression!

However, to keep with the rhyming theme, all excuses should follow this theme...

The old engine had to come out
Of that there was no doubt
A bigger one is going in
You should see the size of my grin
A bigger blower should give it more clout

I'd be amazed if nobody turned up, loads of bods allways come down without posting first. I don't know if I'll make it cause I'm in the middle of an engine swap on my e30 - it's still got no brakes, cooling or propshaft at the moment

Hah, I have to drop out now too, due to "managerial ineffeciencies" at work meaning a couple of 13.5 hour days for me at zero notice. The design industry really is ste.
