Brilliant event and one I've attended for many years.

Highlights will include :

• 40th anniversary celebration of the first ever Formula 5000 race in the UK, which took place at Oulton Park

• Special display and parade to celebrate Mini’s golden anniversary

• Demonstrations by the Slowly Sideways Group B rally cars - the fastest ever built!

• Demonstrations by the British Historic Rally Championship (BHRC) on the circuit's exclusive Rally Stage

• Celebration of 40 years of The Italian Job

I will be there!!! I cant wait It is THE meeting of the year for me. There is something really special about the F5000s thundering out of Lodge and pounding around Old Hall. Then there is the Saloon car races with the little Minis battling it out against bigger oppostion

I love F5000's so it was great to see one testing today. I would love to race one. There is a grid of 15 of them racing and it will be a magnificent sight to see. As for the noise.........OH MY GOD!!!!!!

I'll be there. Marshaling all weekend. I think either Sunday or Monday i'll be part of the team manning the startlights, otherwise i'll be flagging somewhere on the bank.
