Wheatsheaf Meet Thur 27-08-09
Discussion
O.K., the route is completed. Basically it's the old Parbold/Rufford/Croston/Mawdesley route with a little attachment. Is it safe to advertise the route here for people to download or is it best to PM
me for the route? Your thought's please as I'm being a tightwad for not printing the route out. Also, weather permitting, I'll be at various locations ahead of the field so as to try & get a few action shots of the cars. These will be notified so if you could leave a safe gap (as always) so as to get individual cars in the frame. Cheers.

lawrence, does your threefive have those headrests that used to remind me of ET,s head?
Hi'ya Darren, yes it does. The car was only 6 months old when my Dad bought her back in 1971 when she was being used as a demo car. Dad died in '91 & Mum sold her on until I found her again in July 2007 down in Derby. I commisioned a local Rover specialist in Derby to re-commision her and at the end of September '07, I drove my Dad's car back home. Now I don't suppose that there's many people around that can say that??? She's also a rare piece of Rover history in that she was 1 of 12 prototypes that were fitted with air conditioning to be aimed at the American market (these cars are known as NADA's) and it's wideley reckoned that she's the last one left.snapper8v said:
